Lung Cancer

I was wondering if there's anyone out there who has had cancer (or specifically lung cancer) and used alternative/natural medicines. My boyfriend was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer at 33 years old, and I know that the chemotherapy he's doing is not the answer (with the stage he's at, 5 year survival is less than 1%). But it seems like there are so many options out there, and its hard to know what way to go! So I'm hoping there may be someone who had success with a particular method or doctor.... anything you can share helps!!

JT My father has lung cancer stage 3 we found out in Jan. He has been on chemo and radation nothing else. His tumor was the size of a baseball and now due to the chemo and radation to the size of an egg. 50% reduction. The problem is he is listening to his oncoligest and taking nothing to prevent it from spreading. The type of cancer he has reacts well to chemo and radation. His Dr says ''oh we are so suprised at the results''. Not telling him that non small cell lung cancer may go away but pop up somewhere else. It spreads, mostly to the brian, liver and kidneys. My GF is a natural healer she uses homopathic and herbs, oils, ect. There is this stuff called POLY MVA which I have told my father about but since his Dr said do not take anything he will not take it. This has a 70% survival rate, it is all natural and works wonders for people on chemo. Check it out. Hope all goes well. Let me know if you do and the results. Perhaps you could tell your father just what a tumor is as the doctor probably has not. A tumor is the bodies natural reaction to the action of cells turning into a cancer as a barrior to stop the cancer cells from spreading. Consequently, on the average, a tumor is less than 20% cancer cells and the rest are just cells trying to contain it the best they can. As the chemo and radiation shrink the tumor, well guess which cells are easiest to kill off first. Yep, the ones engulfing the cancer cells. Now, I am not saying that none of the cancer cells are being killed off as certainly some of them are, too. But proportionally the "good" (bad word) cells are being killed at a much faster rate. So, even though the tumor is shrinking, it will get to a point wher the cancer cells are able to "leak" out and this is why the cancer spreads to other places. The POLY MVA as I understand it cannot hurt but will not work as effectively with chemo and radiation; but, might lower some of the side effects. You could check that out as I am not sure. There are a multitude of things naturally that could help but as I said some do not work with the conventional treatments, some hinder the (so to speak) the conventional treatments and some help a bit while lessening the side effects. Of course getting him on a proper diet is the first most important thing to do in order for his own immune system to try and keep of as the the chemo and radiation destroys it.

lots of broccoli and asparagus. asparagus has been known to eliminate cancer and same with broccoli (particularly lung cancer). the more the better. good luck to you and your family!

I have been researching on alternatives for cancer because it runs ramped in my family.

With what I have read, cancer can not live in a well oxygenated body and I found out about 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide therapies, there are some doctors that do intravenous for lungs to clean the outer lining.

I have also read up on Essiac tea, the sheep sorrel in the decoction is a cancer fighter. It is said that you use like for like in using herbs and sheep sorrel is like a growing cancer,if you do not get the whole root out of the ground it will grow back. I have searched for days for the sheep sorrel with root, but I have not had any luck. All that can be purchased online is aireal and in the original recipe it has the root. Sheep sorrel grows wild and we consider it a weed now days. Check it out online.

I have also read that diseases cannot live if your body and blood are clean. Research on detoxing the colon and an internal detox. I myself am doing a complete detox with Blessed Herbs (blessedherbs.com)

What I do noy understand is that there are parts of your body that are and should be acidic for the body to work correctly - so - if a cancer develops there, how is alkalinty going to help?

I believe what is implied is that if your body is in perfect health, then it shows alkaline in your urine tests and when a body is perfectly healthy, it can ward off cancer. Blood is always alkaline or you would die off.

I am not trying to say Dr. T. Simoncini's methods do not work (yes, I have read about him and his method and would have no trouble in trying it if I had cancer) but it is better to try two or more compatible alternative methods at the same time as one may not work as well against a person's particular cancer as another method would.
