Hello everybody!
Last week I did a liver flush with the orthophosphoric acid and apple juice. I've done one before in my younger days and had decent results. After the first day I realized that I should have done a colon cleanse first, but continued on anyway, trying to compensate a little with some colon cleanse stuff from the health food store. The day I started (Friday) I started to be bothered with sinus congestion, but my sinuses are so wacked out that sometimes I cant' tell if I'm getting a cold or just having a flareup. So I finish the flush on Sunday night and the fun starts Monday early AM, with I would say less than satisfactory results. Tuesday I wake up and can tell I am really coming down with something bad. I went home early from work and barely made it to the sofa, with sinus, chest congestion, full blown cold I think, trying to turn into maybe bronchitis. Worst I 've felt since before I quit smoking over ten years ago. I'm wondering if since I didn't prepare for the flush by doing the colon cleanse, did I force nasty things coming out of the liver back into my system? I couldn't think of anyone to run this by so maybe someone here might have an opinion. I know there are some powerful minds here in this group. ?

Hey Marilyn - Thanks! It looks like you know your way around a liver flush! Have you posted what works best for you? I can share this with you about my cold. I would be using VIRUSURE from Platinum Health Products in Long Beach, CA., and Oregamax, neither of which I have on hand. I did feel well enough to go out last night and restock on Gary Null's Suprema C Strawberry Powder. I have megadosed on it today and feel at least 50% better in the last four hours or so. Something about the powder that really gets me going. I used to give it to a friend who would take it to work and give it to his friends for their hangovers, and supposedly they were amazed by it. Go figure. I once cured my ex-wife of a horrible intestinal virus with it back in the '80s that wouldn't respond to the MDs medication. ( :

Hi Marilyn,
Very good information. One question, why apple cider vinegar instead of organic apple juice? I have always done my LF's with Organic apple jucie, the rest is very simular to the receipe in curezone. Also, what do you use for the cleanses? so you cleanse first, flush, and cleanse again. I would like to hook up with your master herbalist, could he be Dr. Richard Schultz? Your sounds like a good order of things.

Thank you
Donna

Of course it could be the toxins rolling back around in your system. You have to be able to get it out! Enemas could help you with that or a colonic therapist.

Or you could just have the flu. Whatever it is I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks Christine - I now know that there is a variety of what I did that calls for a coffee enema before and after. I've never done one, but I'm looking for a reliable colonic therapist in my area. ( :

Some things I would like to add, coffee enemas really help your liver dextox, that is one thing colonics don't do. Actually they have different purposes. The coffee enemas help the liver to contract getting rid of so many toxins its amazing, I have heard it is like your liver is a sponge and ringing it out, and the only way you can reach the portal vein is by enemas.

They use to be in the Physicans Desk Reference Manual till about the late 70's I believe, then high tech medicine took their space, no more room for cheap coffee enemas. that work. I have also read where Florence Nightingale administered them for pain control.

One thing you have to remember in doing them is not to hold them any longer than 10-15 minutes, then you start re- absorbing and they become counterproductive. Adding organic molassis, 1-2 Tlb. will help you retain them while you are on hold. I have known people that criitize them, praise them, after they have done a few.
One thing to remember if you do colonics, make sure they are using filtered water to run through your plumbing, or I wouldn't do them .

HI Marilyn I was under the understanding that taking episom salt with the Liver Flush softens, and shrinks the stones so they don't get stuck. I have heard how painful it is if they do get stuck.
I have always taken episom salts. its kinda hard to get down, but I have actually felt everything relax and never have had a problem. Can I ask you to explain coffe being constictive, not dialative. The maltic acid in the organic apple juice works the same way as the apple cider vinegar. It just must be his preferance, but I am also thinking it must have something to do with the PH factor of the vinegar. By +1 you mean size? I don't know how they are rated, I have gone as large as a cherry, softened, with no pain. Lots and lots of small ones, its amazing, I call it surgery without the knife. Doing a coffee enema after the flush I have found helps to get it all out of your body, and you feel wonderful.

Thanks for all this good information,

Hello Marilyn -
So much great information! the barefoot herbalist website is a little overwhelming at first. Interesting thread about flukes. So what comes first the liver flush or the deworm? Sounds like I'm fortunate that I didn't have any complications with my flush as far as congestion. Next one will be better for sure.

Sighs.. you guys are confusing me here again. "flush"?? as in pooping out stones or bugs like you call it?? How would I know if I wasted a stone or a bowel movement?? What's the difference?

I am nearly done with my FIrst Cleanse- it is Two Week Program, it is first total body internal cleanse by ReNewLIFE. I bought it from health food store. Don't know if it's any good, I don't feel any difference yet, I started on it a week and half ago! So do I need to do coffee enema then? Do I find them in the supplment section or in the coffee section??

Thanks

I am absolutely sure that you forced the things that came out of your liver from the flush right back into your system. It is a MUST that you cleanse your colon before the liver flush or it completely defeats the purpose. The toxins from your liver can't escape through the bacteria in your colon. It can only join in and make things worse. Always remember that the first rule to the liver flush IS the colon clease.

Hello Shawana -
Thank you for the reply. My suspicions were correct. Next question: what is the most efficient method of colon cleanse. I've done a few and never got advertised results. Any input would help alot.

I really like the one by Blessed Herbs (blessedherbs.com). It offers three options, good, better, and best. It's awesome. Check out my posts about it. That product is awesome. Nyota1
