Tonight I felt horrible as usual, and began to observe a problem in the chest area. Most of the time I attribute it to my heart or emotions, but with my long history of asthma I'm beginning to consider it may be caused by narrowing of the bronchials or possibly related to a lack of circulation. This may in turn then have an inhibitory effect on the heart, the center of emotion and inspiration.
I tried holding my breath for as long as I could multiple times, and it went away. This encouraged me to start inhaling camphor-based chest/respiratory rub.
It caused me to wonder, how many people suffer from emotional problems or depression who, in fact, might just be suffering from an inhibited respiratory system.
