About Me:
I have lost a ton of weight on hcg. My last injection was in September 2008. I maintain my weight by counting Weight Watcher points, eating only organic and natural food.

I practice yoga 3x weekly and have one standard poodle, named Callie. I have several guardian angels in my life for which I'm grateful. I've been married for, um, 24 years, I think, and I practice Buddhist and yogic meditation.
Favorite Website:

Favorite Music:
Hip hop and R&B, yes, I enjoy this music, not for the lyrics, but for the way it makes my body move. My body responds to this type of rhythm. I love it. But, put on some belly dancing music, and I will enjoy that too. There is something about the rhythm that makes my body move. It can be bongos (spell) too! LOL It's just got to have a certain rhythm to it. It makes by body move the way it wants to move, no thought, just movement.
Favorite Books
Anything by Kevin Trudeau, yoga books, books on Reiki, breath work, and energy work.

There is no one on this site anymore who used to be here. I don't even know why I'm writing this blog. There is no one here to read it and comment on it. hahaha I miss everyone who was here. It was quite the place to be a couple years ago when books came out that Trudeau wrote. Maybe that is why the place is so quiet. Hcg is not new anymore. Clinics have popped up every where in the United States. What do people need this site for? There were at least 20 of us women and men who used hcg and supp… Continue

Wow, that's really strange how you can't write one big, long message anymore. It would not let me send it so I did have to break it up.

I do like this Rosedale diet which is basically saying consume small amounts of carb, get all your carbs from veggies, moderate protein and then high fat, but only good fat like omega-3 and olive oil and avocados and nuts. The high fat of course satisfies me so my brain feels full, but it's a slow weight loss because fats do have a lot of calories even though they are good for you. I just went to see my naturopath and she wants me to count calories just for one day so she can get a better grasp on exactly the calorie count. When I went to see her I brought a list of all the food I ate the day before and she likes the food I'm eating, but she thinks it's too high in calories. Story of my life.

Oh, gosh, I see what you're talking about with the word count. It says I'm at -236 right now and maybe you won't get this message. I'm going to stop and send and see what happens.

Hey, Lynne, I just got done reading that progesterone does make you gain weight so you're supposed to be taking it two weeks of your cycle and not every day and that's how it occurs in nature. I'm reading this Suzanne Somer's book called Breakthrough and that's what her doctors that she's interviewing say to do. But it is the progesterone that causes weight gain. I always thought I could feel myself getting more hungry right before my period came, like a week before. I would just crave more and I always wondered why until I read that and that made me feel better to know it was my hormones that were making me more hungry during my cycle.

I'm not on any hormones right now, but I'm considering seeing someone who specializes in bioidentical hormones. I called and it's really expensive so I'm not going right now. I still have my period and it's regular and predictable so I don't think I'm low on the sex hormones, but the thyroid and the adrenal hormones I might be low so I do want some tests done.

I'm glad WW is working for you and I wouldn't change a thing if you're having such good results. When I find something that brings such good results you can bet your life that I will stick with it. I just have to find what works for my personality. We all have our quirks like you and the movies which I don't think is that weird. I have quirks about not counting things and measuring things and that makes me angry and frustrated that I have to do that. Don't ask me why such a small thing like that would bother me so much it just does.

Hey, Lynne, I should have said turtle cheesecake. I would never eat turtle, blah!!!! The marshmallow pie is my mom-in-law's recipe and she told me it's just the marshmallows melted down with some milk and then put in her graham cracker crust.

All that measuring you do and for that small, small portion of food. Really it makes me mad to read that that's all the food you got. I don't know why I get so angry at measuring food or counting points.

I'm reading this great book on bioidentical hormones and I think I'm low on some hormones and that's why I can't lose this weight. Are you on bioidenticals, Lynne? Maybe that is your issue too. Just a thought.

Hi Lynne, I read the comments. It sounds like the two of you did good. I ate Turkey, vegetables, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, (I haven't had potatoes in sooo long) and I also ate pumpkin pie. It was the first time in a long time that I ate and tried not to worry about it, I just ate what looked good, a little of everything.
I saw my NMD today. She seems to think that after I was done with my last round of HCG that I didn't eat enough to reset my metabolism. If you only eat a small amount of food your metabolism resets itself for that amount of calories. So if your only eating 800- 1000 calories, later you can't eat 1500 without having a problem ,you'll probably start to gain or barely maintain. Hopefully I explained that right. After the holidays if I'm still having a problem she said I could do another round and hopefully with her help reset my metabolism the way I should have before. She also told me I'm not eating enough. Something else she told me was to never have a carb without a protein for example if I have an apple maybe eat it with some peanut butter. Eat a trail mix with nuts and raisins. I guess I need more protein. I usually eat small amounts of protein, lots of vegetables and some fruit. Everyone is different so I hope I can figure out what will work for me someday so it's not a constant struggle.

Hi, Lynne, did you have yourself a happy Thanksgiving? Was it hard to resist the unhealthy foods? It was hard for me. I did so well during the meal and had a salad with my own salad dressing on top and I had turkey and some artichoke hearts and then they brought in the desserts which was a marshmallow pie and a turtle pie and I had one slice of each pie and then it just sat like two lumps in my stomach and it was literally making me want to vomit so I asked my husband if he would speed walk with me so I could burn up this sugar before it went to my hips and he did. It was 20-some degrees out so we walked as fast as we could for about 30-45 minutes. Boy, did that feel better.

Oh, and no problems on my end with bumping me off or telling me I have negative characters left. Talk to you soon.
