I have experienced weight gain on phase 3. I don't know what to tell you though on why it happened. Looking back I think this is just another fad diet and that's what happens with fad diets, you gain the weight back eventually.

About Me:
I'm a wife of 13 years and a mother of two. I am also a part time court reporter now because I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis. I got diagnosed in 2000, but was suffering before that with pain in my scapular area. I remember going to my aerobics coach and asking her to watch me because I thought I was working out wrong. I do love life and live it like it's my last. I love being active and playing sports. I'm a Christian or what I would call a born again believer and have been since 1993. This site has helped me lose 48 pounds doing hcg and stopped my harmful eating patterns, so I'm forever grateful to Kevin Trudeau.

Phase 4, Day 25 (LIW 178.0)

Nov. 17, '08, when I weighed in this morning the scale showed 179.2. I'm going to post everything I did on Sunday, Nov 16 to try to just show what I do in a day. I know that Lynne is interested and maybe some others are too. I certainly don't mean to suggest this is the way to maintain. I would also like to say I do not do this every day. I guess I did extra good yesterday because I knew I was going to post it.

7am woke up and drank 4 oz of FlorEssence Gentle Detox for the whole body. This and… Continue

Phase 4, Day 18 (LIW 178.0)

Oct. 10, '08, weighed in at 180.2 pounds this morning. I went to my shiatsu session this morning. I thought it was going to be more like the chiropractor, I guess. It wasn't like that at all. First of I was placed on a massage bed that was heated face down and for half an hour she pushed, grasped, rubbed, pressed and held parts of my whole body starting with the head, then neck, spine, tailbone, arms, fingers and feet and toes. This was done all on top of my clothes. I was told not to wear denim… Continue

Phase 4, Day 15 (LIW 178.0)

Nov. 7, '08, weighed 179.8 this morning. I have decided to weigh myself every two to three days. I didn't think I would like this and it would drive me crazy not knowing, but the only bad part of that is weighing this morning and holding my breath for a big gain.

I saw this ad in my local co-op newspaper about shiatsu and I thought I would call Sally and find out what it is and if it would help my RA. I wrote her an email and described my symptoms and the trouble I've been having with the botto… Continue

Phase 4, Day 12 (LIW 178.0)

Nov. 4, '08, weighed in at 180.4 so 2.4 pounds over LIW. You all better double check my math because I did it in my head again. I'm seriously thinking of doing some serious weight training with a trainer if I can afford it. I want to change my body shape and with aerobics it just makes me a smaller pear shape which is nice but I would like to know what it's like not to be a pear and I feel the only way is with weights. I may be wrong, but I'm going to experiment and see if I could change my shap… Continue

Phase 4, Day11 (LIW 178.0)

Nov. 3, '08, weigh 181.8 so I'm 1.8 over my LIW. Had too much food on Saturday morning, the day after Halloween. I had two bite size candy cars and two Halloween cupcakes from a church carnival. They were home-made, I'm positive, because the frosting tasted like butter. I couldn't taste that chemical fake frosting taste. The cupcakes were way better than the candy cars. I just wish I could have slowed down to enjoy them even more. I ate both cupcakes back to back really fast, probably within one… Continue

Hi, Linda!!!! I'm on. This site let me on! Anyway, I wanted to respond to the Rosedale Diet that you are on. I think when I was in my late teens, I was on that. It worked wonderfully. This doc gave my girlfriend and I shots and pills, lol. We would be driving home, and have to pee on the side of the road. I don't remember what he gave us, but then we had to do the diet. The diet did work by itself.

Joanne has been trying to get on this site and cannot. She wants me to create a site where we can just talk amongst ourselves. What do you think?

rogesterone should read progesterone. Does progesterone make people gain weight even though it's naturally derived? Are you on a natural hormone or is it an Rx?

oh, about hormones. My naturopath, just yesterday, put me on a natural rogesterone, plant derived, called Progonb. Herbal Supplement. Belwwecken. He put me on this to regulate my menstrual cycle. It starts and stopes. It's light and heavy. It's short and long, meaning it lasts a day or two or 15 days.

I don't feel comfortable doing that. I would rather stay slow and steady. :) ...just my personality. Surprizes upset me. I'm not that flexible. LOL I'm flexible in yoga and my body, but not my personality, for example, if you and I were to go to a movie theatre, I would let you know before we went that I only want to go on a rainy day and I need to sit in the very back row, on the isle, or unfortunately, I wouldn't go bc I wouldn't feel comfortable. I cannot believe that I just told you that about me. LOL

Does it stink? Yes. Yes. Yes. Does it work? Yes. Yes. Yes. Do I wish I could eat normally like my girlfriends and family? Yes. Yes. Yes. BUT, most of my friends have a little bit of a weight problem and so does some of my family. I'm only talking about 5 -10 pounds here. These women will gain 5 pounds over the holidays or on vacation, and then lose it in a couple of weeks. They will overeat, gain a couple of pounds; then starve for a couple of days, and lose it.

I too, get angry, Linda, about having to weigh and measure and count everything I put in my mouth, but, it is working for me. This is what I think about to keep me doing it: "Diabetics, who have their blood sugar under control, do this; plus inject themselves and test their blood sugar every day, so I can do this, and I don't have diabetes. I'm fortunate. Keep doing what you are doing bc it's working; you are not the only one who does things like this for health." That is what I think when I'm feeling frustrated and even when I'm not. It helps move me forward with the process.

Hi, Linda--the reason why my comments are coming in parts is because I keep getting bumped off, so I don't want to write to much on anyone section. LOL I didn't think the Turtle Pie was real turtle. hehehe You make me laugh. The Marshmallow Pie sounds really good. I love marshmallows sandwhiched between grahm crackers and chocolate. Smores.

The bottom line is that I could have eaten more food and more filling food for those points. Yes, Whole Foods catered, so the meat was organic, turkey and chicken, and all the sides including the pies where chemical free. But, that would not be my first choice for food.

I was afraid to start eating. Everybody had finished their dinner at the table, and I was still in the kitchen at the counter, weighing and measuring my food, scared to eat. I actually verbalized that I didn't know how to eat. I felt uncomfortable around that food. And, actually those carbs left me feeling hungry. I could have eating a substantially more filling and healthier meal for 13 points than what I ate for Thankgsgiving.
